Raquel Rocha

Lawyer

Raquel provides services for Canadian Immigration and Civil Litigation matters. She has an extensive litigation background, including four years of legal practice in Brazil, which allowed her to become a zealous and empathetic advocate. Raquel has worked with corporate clients and individuals in different settings. In Brazil, she has also worked on behalf of a union in a high-profile case representing more than 90 workers with a recent multimillion-dollar positive decision in the Court of Appeal.

Raquel’s experience as an intern clerk in the Court of Appeal for the Federal District and the Prosecutor’s Office in Brazil gave her a unique perspective of other justice system stakeholders that helps her advance her clients’ interests. In Canada, before joining Flow Law, Raquel finished her articling in an immigration law firm in Toronto, where she supported a wide range of clients in their applications. She also enjoys contributing to the Brazilian legal community in Canada and attending the events of the Brazil Canada Bar Association.

Raquel holds an LLB from the University of Brasilia and obtained an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School. In her spare time, Raquel enjoys taking her toddler and her pug to parks to explore nature.
